মানুষের ইহলৌকিক কল্যাণ ও পারলৌকিক মুক্তির দিগদর্শণ মুসলিম উম্মাহর জন্য শ্রেষ্ঠতম নিয়ামত আল্লাহর বাণী পবিত্র ‘আল-কোরআন’।
কোরআন মানবজাতির সর্বাঙ্গীণ কল্যাণ ও মুক্তির দিশারি বা পথপ্রদর্শক। পবিত্র কোরআনকে সর্বকালের, সর্বদেশের, সর্বলোকের জীবনবিধান ও মুক্তির সনদ হিসেবে আল্লাহ তাআলা ওহীর মাধ্যমে নাজিল করেছেন।
পবিত্র কোরআন নাজিলের ছয় মাস আগে থেকেই আল্লাহ তাআলা উনার পেয়ারে হাবিব হযরত মুহম্মদ (সা:) কে স্বপ্নের মাধ্যমে এ মহান কাজের জন্য প্রস্তুত করে নিচ্ছিলেন।
হযরত আয়েশা সিদ্দিকা (আ:) হতে বর্ণিত আছে, প্রিয় নবী হযরত মুহম্মদ (সা:) এর উপর ওহী নাজিলের সূচনা হয়েছিল স্বপ্নের মাধ্যমে। তিনি স্বপ্নে যা দেখতেন তা দিনের আলোর মতো তাঁর জীবনে প্রতিভাত হতো।
হযরত জিবরাইল (আ:) এর মাধ্যমে ওহী প্রাপ্তির আগে আস্তে আস্তে তিনি নির্জনতা প্রিয় হয়ে ওঠেন, হেরা গুহায় নিভৃতে আল্লাহ তাআলার ধ্যানে তিনি মশগুল হয়ে পড়েন এবং বিশাল সৃষ্টি ও তার উদ্দেশ্য সম্পর্কে গভীর চিন্তা ভাবনা করতে থাকেন।
খাবার পানি শেষ হয়ে গেলে সেসব নেয়ার জন্যেই তিনি শুধু বাড়ি যেতেন। মাঝে মাঝে উনার অতি প্রিয় সহধর্মিণী হযরত বিবি খাদিজা (আ:) উনাকে হেরা গুহায় খাবার দিয়ে আসতেন।
একদিন জিবরাইল (আ:) হযরত মুহম্মদ (সা:) এর কাছে এসে গভীর কণ্ঠে তাঁকে বলেন ‘ইকরা‘ পড়ুন। প্রিয় নবী (সা:) বিস্ময়ে হতবাক হয়ে গেলেন। উদ্বেলিত কণ্ঠে তাকে বললেন ‘আমি তো পড়তে জানি না’।
জিবরাইল (আ:) তখন হুজুরে পাক হযরত মুহম্মদ (সা;) কে বুকে চেপে ধরে আবার বলেন, পড়ুন। তৃতীয় বার যখন জিবরাইল (আ:) তাঁকে বুকে আলিংগন করে ছেড়ে দিয়ে বলেন, পড়ুন!
তখন হুজুরে পাক (সা:) ওহীর প্রথম পাঁচটি আয়াত [পাঠ করুন, আপনার পালনকর্তার নামে যিনি সৃষ্টি করেছেন। সৃষ্টি করেছেন মানুষকে জমাট রক্তপিন্ড থেকে। পাঠ করুন, আপনার পালনকর্তা মহা দয়ালু, যিনি কলমের সাহায্যে শিক্ষা দিয়েছেন, শিক্ষা দিয়েছেন মানুষকে যা সে জানত না। -সূরা আলাক্ব: প্রথম পাঁচ (১ - ৫) আয়াত।] পড়লেন। তারপর সাথ সাথে হযরত জীবরাঈল (আ:) সেখান থেকে চলে গেলেন। এই হল পবিত্র কোরআন নাজিলের সংক্ষিপ্ত ইতিহাস।
এখন আমরা জানবো পবিত্র কোরআনের সংক্ষিপ্ত পরিচিতি-
* ৬১০ খ্রিস্টাব্দ ও রমজান মাসের কদরের রজনীতে হেরা পর্বতের গুহায় সর্বপ্রথম কোরআন অবতীর্ণ হয়।
* অবতীর্ণের মোট সময়কাল ২২ বছর পাঁচ মাস ১৪ দিন।
* প্রথম নাজিলকৃত পূর্ণ সুরা হলো সুরা ফাতিহা।
* সর্বপ্রথম নাজিলকৃত কোরআনের আয়াত হলো সুরা আলাকের প্রথম পাঁচ আয়াত।
* কোরআনের প্রথম শব্দ হলো ‘ইকরা’—তুমি পড়ো।
* কোরআনের সর্বশেষ নাজিলকৃত সুরা হলো সুরা আন-নসর এবং সর্বশেষ নাজিলকৃত আয়াত হলো সুরা বাকারার ২৮১ নম্বর আয়াত।

* পবিত্র কোরআনের মোট সুরা ১১৪টি। এর মধ্যে মাক্কি সুরা (হিজরতের আগে বর্ণিত) ৯২টি, মাদানি সুরা (হিজরতের পরে বর্ণিত) ২২টি।
* কোরআনে মোট ৫৪০টি রুকু আছে।
* প্রসিদ্ধ অভিমত অনুযায়ী কোরআনের মোট আয়াত ছয় হাজার ৬৬৬টি। কিন্তু গবেষকদের দৃষ্টিতে মোট ছয় হাজার ২৩৬টি।

পাবনার লক্ষ্মী মিষ্টান্ন ভাণ্ডারে দেশের ২২তম রাষ্ট্রপতি বীর মুক্তিযোদ্ধা মো. সাহাবুদ্দিন
ছাত্র রাজনীতিতে জড়িত থাকার সময়টাতে লক্ষ্মী মিষ্টান্ন ভাণ্ডারে আড্ডা আর মিষ্টি খাওয়ার স্মৃতিটা বোধ করি কখনোই ভোলেননি নবনির্বাচিত রাষ্ট্রপতি মো. সাহাবুদ্দিন। তাই তো রাষ্ট্রের সর্বোচ্চ পদে আসীন হওয়ার পর নিজ জেলা পাবনায় প্রথম সফরে তিনি সশরীরে হাজির হলেন সেখানে।
পাবনা সফরের প্রথম দিন সোমবার রাতে হঠাৎ করেই রাষ্ট্রপতি গিয়ে হাজির হন স্মৃতিঘেরা ঐতিহ্যবাহী লক্ষ্মী মিষ্টান্ন ভাণ্ডারে। রাষ্ট্রের সর্বোচ্চ পদে থাকা মানুষটিকে পুরনো দিনগুলোর মতো একইসঙ্গে অবাক ও খুশি হয়ে ওঠেন দোকানের মালিক, রাষ্ট্রপতির বন্ধু, স্বজন ও অনুসারীরা।
১৯৪০ সালে প্রতিষ্ঠিত লক্ষ্মী মিষ্টান্ন ভাণ্ডারের ব্যবসা চলছে তিন পুরুষ ধরে। মধ্য শহরের রায়ের বাজারে এই দোকানের রসগোল্লা, প্যারা মিষ্টি পাবনার গণ্ডি ছাড়িয়ে সুনাম কুড়িয়েছে সারা দেশে।
পাবনার মুক্তিযুদ্ধ ও প্রগতিশীল রাজনীতির আঁতুড়ঘর বলা চলে লক্ষ্মী মিষ্টান্ন ভাণ্ডারকে। স্বাধীনতার আগে থেকেই পাবনার মুক্তিযুদ্ধে নেতৃত্ব দেয়া প্রগতিশীল রাজনীতিবিদ ও ছাত্রনেতাদের আড্ডা বসত দোকানটিতে।
রাজনৈতিক সফরে পাবনায় এসে এই দোকানে বসে মিষ্টি খেয়েছেন জাতির জনক বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুর রহমানও।
সোমবার রাত ৮টা। হঠাৎ করেই শহরের ব্যস্ততম আব্দুল হামিদ সড়কে নিরাপত্তা বাহিনীর সদস্যদের দৌড়াদৌড়ি। একপর্যায়ে যান চলাচল বন্ধ হয়ে যায়। পথচারীরাও থমকে দাঁড়িয়ে যান। সড়কের দু’পাশে উৎসুক জনতার দৃষ্টি নিবদ্ধ হয় একটি মিষ্টির দোকানের দিকে।
রাজনীতিকসহ বিভিন্ন ক্ষেত্রের অনেক বিখ্যাত ব্যক্তির আড্ডা ও পদচারণার কারণে লক্ষ্মী মিষ্টান্ন ভাণ্ডারের নামও ইতিহাসের সঙ্গে জড়িয়ে আছে। কমরেড প্রসাদ রায়, কমরেড মনি সিংহসহ অনেকে এখানে আসতেন। সতীর্থদের সঙ্গে নিয়মিত আড্ডা দিতেন দেশের ২২তম রাষ্ট্রপতি বীর মুক্তিযোদ্ধা মো. সাহাবুদ্দিনও।
কর্মজীবনেও তিনি যখনই পাবনায় এসেছেন একবার হলেও ঘুরে যেতেন প্রিয় দোকানটিতে। তাই কঠোর নিরাপত্তাবলয় উপেক্ষা করে সরকারি সফরের প্রথম দিনে হঠাৎ করেই রাষ্ট্রপতি ফিরে যান স্মৃতিময় আড্ডার জায়গাটিতে।
স্বাধীনতা আন্দোলন এবং পরবর্তীকালে মুক্তিযুদ্ধের পক্ষের রাজনীতিতে খবর আদান-প্রদানের পাশাপাশি গোপনে অর্থ দিয়ে সাহায্য করতেন লক্ষ্মী মিষ্টান্ন ভাণ্ডারের প্রতিষ্ঠাতা লক্ষ্মী নারায়ণ ঘোষ এবং তার ছেলে নিমাই চন্দ্র ঘোষ। এ করণে অনেকবার হামলাও হয়েছে দোকানটিতে, দেয়া হয়েছে আগুন।
লক্ষ্মী মিষ্টান্ন ভাণ্ডারের বর্তমান স্বত্বাধিকারী ভোলানাথ ঘোষ বলেন, ‘রাত ৮টার দিকে রাষ্ট্রপতি হঠাৎ করে দোকানে আসেন। এ সময় তাকে দেখে আমরা খুশিতে আত্মহারা হয়ে পড়ি। সফরের প্রথম দিন যে তিনি আমাদের দোকানে আসবেন তা ভাবতেই পারিনি। এতা খুশি হয়েছি যে ভাষায় প্রকাশ করতে পারছি না।’
তিনি আরও বলেন, ‘রাষ্ট্রপতি ১০ মিনিট দোকানে অবস্থান করেন। তিনি পুরনো দিনের অনেক স্মৃতি রোমন্থন করেন। আগে রাষ্ট্রপতি শহরের রূপকথা সড়কের জলযোগ থেকে সিঙ্গাড়া ও আলুর চপ খেতেন। আজও তিনি জলযোগের সিঙ্গাড়া খেয়েছেন।’
জলযোগের ম্যানেজার ফজলে রাব্বি জানান, বিকেল ৫টার দিকে রাষ্ট্রপতির জন্য ৬০টি শিঙাড়া নিয়ে যাওয়া হয়।
জেলা আওয়ামী লীগের সভাপতি রেজাউল রহিম লাল বলেন, ‘এই আনন্দ ও খুশি শুধু আমাদের নয়, সব পাবনাবাসীকেই ছুঁয়ে গেছে। কারণ পাবনার কৃতী এই সন্তান তার শেকড় ভোলেননি।’
পাবনা সদর আসনের সংসদ সদস্য গোলাম ফারুক প্রিন্স বলেন, ‘এমন ঘটনা সত্যিই আমাদের হৃদয় ছুঁয়ে গেছে। তিনি যে আমাদের মানুষ, পাবনার ছাওয়াল, এটা কিন্তু আবারও প্রমাণ হলো।’
রাষ্ট্রপতির বাল্যবন্ধু অধ্যাপক শিবজিত নাগ ও বীর মুক্তিযোদ্ধা বেবি ইসলাম বলেন, ‘মো. সাহাবুদ্দিন পাবনায় প্রেস ক্লাব, লক্ষ্মী মিষ্টান্ন ভাণ্ডার, মিডিয়া সেন্টার ও ডায়াবেটিক সমিতিতে বন্ধুদের সঙ্গে আড্ডা দিতেন। তিনি দেশের রাষ্ট্রপতি হওয়ায় আর হয়তো এভাবে আসতে পারবেন না। আমরা তাকে সব সময় মিস করব।’
